Group for Caregivers that discuss the challenges and joys of caring for someone with Alzheimer’s. The group meets every Wednesday at 12:30 pm in The Parsons Parlor at Carteret Street United Methodist Church, 408 Carteret Street, Beaufort . All past and present caregivers are welcome to attend. There is no Fee for this program.
Living With Alzheimer’s Disease
This group is for those that have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and are still in the very early stages. Participants discuss their growing fears and concerns not only for themselves but their family and friends who will become their caregivers. They also discuss and share simple tasks they do to help preserve and prolong their memory and help them get through each day. The group meets every Monday from 1:00 pm- 2:00 pm in The Parsons Parlor at Carteret Street United Methodist Church, 408 Carteret Street, Beaufort. There is no fee for this program.
